6/3/09 Last Saturday at Noon in downtown Swartz Creek, the Annual HomeTown Days Parade took to the streets. Team Plan B Racing was there in support of all our local sponsors. Thanks to team members Garry Bundy and Chad Watson for their help and efforts on getting the car in the parade. And I really had a lot of fun passing out candy to all those kids - on both sides of the street!!! Support our Sponsors and all Your Local Businesses! |

| The SEASON OPENER at Auto City Speedway - 4/18/09 4/19/09 The weather was awesome for opening night at the Clio, Michigan fast track ,with temperatures in the low 70's and clear skies. After a long Michigan winter,Team Plan B was ready for the first night of short track racing. Changes were made to the car setup this winter, and from Thursdays' first night of testing, which made the car better. Qualifying times were tight and the #22 came in with a 15:94, which proves the car had some significant improvements made to it over last year. In the 8 lap Heat race, car 22 started in the 3rd position and held onto finish in 4th place among the 6 cars competing. The excitement was building for the Feature race, which began with an on track introduction of the drivers at the starting line, then they returned to their cars to run the first race of the 2009 season. The 40 lap Auto City Super Stock Late Model feature started out well, but ended up with a few too many cautions, the third one took hold of us on lap 15 and we had to call it an early night. We took 13th out of the 15 car field, and also some solice in the fact that only 7 cars actually finished the race! We loaded up the car and watched the rest of the night of racing at the track. Sunday morning, things were assessed, then some unexpected - and much appreciated help arrived, (thanks guys!) and the work began and now we're getting ready for the next race! We're looking forward to seeing you at the track where we'll be back better than ever! Thanks to all our Friends and Family for their help and support and for coming out to see us this weekend! Hope to see you next time - at the "City"! |
