spot for short track auto racing. In Genesee County, the Auto City Speedway in
Clio is the place to find some of the best drivers in Mid-Michigan racing on
Saturday nights. Plan B Racing is one of the premier teams that races at this track
with the Auto City Super Stock Class. We at Plan B Racing show our
commitment to racing and the sponsors, which we represent in our mission
statement;

advertising sponsorship. Auto racing is another advertising avenue to promote
your business or a charity to the local community. Auto racing advertising is unlike
TV advertising, it’s a direct and visible way to distribute coupons, establish sales
leads, enroll new customers, test market, introduce new product lines, to promote
a public service message for your charity, or may even be used as company/client
entertainment.
Sponsorship is a partnership between you and us, at Plan B Racing to meet the
goals of both organizations. We are looking for ways to help with racing costs and
you are looking for different ways to get new customers and enhance your
business. Having your business’ logo/graphics on a racecar and trailer is just a
part of getting your business name out there and recognized to potential new
clients.
At the track, fliers with free services or discount coupons introduces your
business to this marketplace. When the customer comes in to redeem the free
service or discount coupon for service or products, they will be introduced to all
your business has to offer. People exposed to your business’s logo/graphics by
the repetition on a weekly basis, can bring about more potential new customers to
your door. Banners, Frisbees, t-shirts or “Point of Sale” items are also just another
way of being highly visible at the speedway.
Other track programs could include, but not limited to, flyer gate drops, coupons,
t-shirt give-a-ways, benefit raffles, window stickers, product/service give-a-ways,
Autograph Night Giveaways, and on track public address (PA) system promotions
with you or the driver about your business. Most tracks provide programs for
sponsors, track program books, product displays and signage at and around the
track. We at Plan B Racing LLC will work directly or as a liaison with all sponsors
on track activities.
Off track programs could include, but not limited to, car and/or driver displayed at
the sponsors business for special events, fairs, car shows, parades and festivals.
Other promotional ideas could feature the racecar and driver(s) in magazine,
newspaper, or TV ads, sale fliers or any promotion to help enhance our sponsor’s
business. Advertising space or web link on the Plan B Racing web site is also
available for all sponsors.
On the Roadway the advertisers’ logo/graphics will be seen on 2 sides of
racecar hauler to and from the tracks by hundreds of people by traveling on major
roadways to and from the speedway.
At the Track on an average of 2000 people a night and with the potential of up to
5000 people in the pits and in the grandstands will see your business
logo/graphics. At each track, information is collected about the drivers and
sponsors before the racing begins. As each racecar and driver is introduced
during the racing, most track announcers mention the racecars' sponsors. At the
track a large range of people enjoy watching auto racing, which come from a
variety of classes from blue-collar workers, CEO’s and doctors.
The Racing Season in the Mid-Michigan area starts - weather permitting - in
April and ends in September. You as a sponsor, you will have the benefit of 6
months of advertising sponsorship on the race car and on our website.
In 2010, once again, we will be racing a full schedule with the Chevy powered,
Pontiac (Howe) Chassis, Super Stock Late Model racecar, racing at Auto City
Speedway in Clio, MI on Saturday night.
