Plan B Racing LLC 2008 Sponsorship Program
I would like to welcome you to the sport of Michigan Short Track Auto
Racing. The following information is about auto racing sponsorship
and how you or your business can be involved in this exciting
sport.
Auto racing sponsorship is another advertising avenue to promote
your business or charity to the local community. Sponsorship, unlike
TV Advertising, is a direct and visible way to distribute coupons,
establish sales leads, enroll new customers, test market, introduce
new product lines, to promote a public service message for your
charity, or company/client entertainment.
Sponsorship is a partnership between you and the race team owner to
meet the goals of both organizations. Team owners are looking for
ways to help with racing cost and business owners are looking for
different ways to get new customers and enhance their business.
Having your business logo/graphic on the side of a moving race car
hauler or at the track on a fast race car is just a start in getting your
business name out there, opening up to a different market.
At the track, fliers with free services or discount coupons introduces
your business to this marketplace. When the customer comes in to
redeem the free service or discount coupon for service or products,
they will be introduced to what your business has to offer. People
exposed to your business’ Logo/graphics by the repetition on a weekly
basis, can bring about potential to new customers to your door.
Banners, Frisbees, t-shirts or “Point of Sale” items are just the start to
being highly visible at the speedway.
Other track programs could include, but not limited to, flyer drops,
coupons, t-shirt give-a-ways, benefit raffles, window stickers,
product/service give-a-ways and on track public address (PA) system
promotions with you or the driver about your business. Most tracks
provide programs for sponsors, track program books, product displays
and signage at and around the track. Plan B Racing LLC will work
directly or as a liaison with all sponsors on all track activities.
Off track programs could include, but not limited to, car and/or driver
displayed at the sponsors business for special events, fairs, car
shows, parades and festivals. Other promotional ideals could feature
the racecar and driver(s) in magazine or newspaper ads, sale fliers or
any promotion to help enhance our sponsor’s business. Advertising
space or web link on the Plan B Racing web site is also available for
all sponsors.
On the Road Sponsors logo/graphics will be seen on 2 sides of
racecar hauler to and from the tracks by up to 10,000+ people by
traveling on major roadways to and from the speedway.
At the Track up to 1000+ people in the pit area and in the grandstands
will see the your logo/graphics. At each track information is collected
about the drivers and sponsors before the racing begins. As each
race car and driver is introduced and during the racing, some track
announcers mention the race cars sponsor’s. At the track a large
range of people enjoy watching auto racing, and come from a variety
of classes from blue-collar workers and farmers to CEO’s and
doctors.
The Racing Season in the Mid-Michigan area starts in April with
testing and ends the middle of September. You as a sponsor will
have the benefit of 6 months of sponsorship on the two sides and back
of a 24-foot race car hauler and race car.
In 2008 Plan B Racing LLC will be racing a full schedule with a Chevy
powered, Pontiac, Limited Late Model (Howe chasse) race car, racing
